The Miss Deaf Alabama Pageant is sponsored by the Alabama Association of the Deaf - Miss Deaf Alabama Pageant Committee to promote diversity and unity among deaf girls, as well as encouraging them to become leaders. The pageant is but one of the many programs that AAD sponsors for the deaf and hard of hearing community in Alabama.
